Insomnia Blues was born at 4:30 in the morning, on my third night of insomnia, when sleeplessness met a double brandy and apparently decided it was time to paint.

Created intuitively with a palette knife, layers of deep blue, turquoise, white, and flashes of yellow-green move across the canvas with the restless energy of a mind that simply refused to shut down.
