Kokopelli’s Night Music

A little modeling paste, a southwestern vibe and a famous flute player converge to create Kokopelli’s Night Music.

Using modeling paste, I outlined the basic design of the painting, with intentionally texturing to give the feelings of it been older and “carved”. With a deep red sunset background, metallic bronze and copper combine to make a mountain plateau for a turquoise Kokopelli to take center stage and play his flute into the night, his musical notes blending effortlessly into the scenery.

This painting would grace the home or office of any one with a Southwest flare.
