Love Reigns Down

During a rather sad time in my life, I started this painting. The gray background with flecks of silver and blue were the tears I was shedding shown as rain. The tree is bare reflecting my soul at the time. A lone figure sits below the tree. As I finished the basic design I made the decision that I no longer wanted to feel sadness. I wanted joy and happiness in my life. I wanted to love and be loved. And the red hearts brought out that feeling. For it is when we are at our lowest points, when we feel the least worthy, that we most need love in our lives.
