Portrait of Survival was created during a period of PMDD depression, using color and movement to express what I was experiencing when words weren’t enough.

Layers of blues and turquoise are interrupted by black, white, and metallic tones, creating a surface that feels both turbulent and persistent. What began as an expression of depression became something else in retrospect: a record of having moved through it and survived.
